SCOPE OF THIS POLICY

Collectively our terms of use applies to your use of:

  • The Pubpal website connecting customers with participating venues, and any other services accessible through this website.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give to us (Submitted information):You may give us information about you by filling in forms on the website, or by corresponding with us. This includes information you provide when you, download or register to use the service, purchase food or drink (including order history) and when you report a problem with the service. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number.
  • Information we receive from other sources (Third Party Information).We work with third party business partners who provide technical, payment and delivery services and may receive information about you from them which may include your email address and payment method.

    USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • To confirm the order, process the payment, and to create order history
  • We may share your personal data with the parties set out below:
  • Our clients, for whom we conduct campaigns for, and who act as joint controllers with Justpeel for campaign purposes.
  • Third party advertising providers, including those operating websites.
  • Service providers, IT and system administration services.

RETENTION OF DATA

Personal data provided when registering to use the App shall be retained until such time that the user requests that the Data Controller amend or remove the data.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION 

We may disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that We sell or buy any business or assets, in which case We may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
  • Justpeel are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
  • If We are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation or request.
  • To enforce or apply the EULA, Our Terms of Use available at and other agreements or to investigate potential breaches
  • protect the rights, property or safety of Justpeel, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data that We collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination inside the UK.  It will be processed by staff who work for us or for one of our suppliers. These staff may be engaged in the fulfilment of your request or order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. Justpeel will apply appropriate organisational and technical controls to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

All information you provide to us is stored on our servers. Any payment transactions will be carried out by our chosen PCI-DSS compliant provider of payment processing services.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and the ICO of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

YOUR RIGHTS 

You have the right to: 

 

  • Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
  • Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
  • Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no justifiable reason for it to be retained. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites and any services that may be accessible through them have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or for any personal data that may be collected through these websites or services, such as contact and location data. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites or use these services.

CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY 

Any changes We may make to Our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page. The new terms may be displayed on-screen and you will be required to read and accept them to continue your use of the App or the Services.
